Ms. Posey is a widow that recently lost her son who was her caregiver. She suffers from multiple health issues which make it difficult for her to move around, including an inability to get in and out of her tub safely. To address the issue, we replaced the tub with a walk-in shower, shower chair and grab bars.
Her roof, which had been leaking for years, was replaced by Anderson Interfaith Ministries. Due to the water leaks, her ceiling in the kitchen was sagging to th point of falling in. With the help of Concord Baptist Church volunteers, we reframed the ceiling, hung and finished new sheetrock and installed a new light. We then installed new LVT floors in the kitchen.
Hopefully these upgrades will make her life easier as she deals with all the hardships she is facing. Her parting words were “I want to thank you all so much for everything, I don’t have words…..all I can do is cry.”
