Ms. Bagwell, a devoted single mother of six in Pickens, SC, is working hard to create a safe and stable home for her children. She is a working mother who has a strong faith, is not only present and supportive, but also continues to advocate for the safety and health of her children. The entire family is currently all sharing a rented 2 bedroom, 1 bath basement, because their old farmhouse is in an unlivable condition. It is in desperate need of renovation that she unable complete on her own.
Alyssa and her children live with mitochondrial disease, a rare genetic condition that causes ongoing and unpredictable health challenges. Having a safe, stable, and healthy environment is crucial for their well-being. We are stepping in to help restore and repair this home, but we need support to make it possible. By giving, you will not only help renovate a house—you will be helping give the Bagwell’s a secure place to call home, where they can find healing, stability, and hope for the future.
The repairs needed include a Master Bath addition to ADA standards, HVAC install, wiring upgrade, roof replacement, plumbing upgrade and an addition of a bunk room in the attic for the children. Due to the extensive nature of the repairs the budget is $25,000. Obviously, we need a lot of help with this one with prayers, volunteers and donors to complete these upgrades with that budget! Our goal is to have the kids in their renovated home by Christmas. With your help and the Lord’s blessing we can do it.
