Operation Colletta
What is Emmanuel's Hammer?

EH, is an inter-denominational, faith-based, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. By attending to the family’s physical needs resulting from disasters or substandard housing we have an opportunity to tend to their emotional and spiritual needs as well. Our work is a ministry looking beyond earthly structures toward an eternal home that can not be shaken by catastrophe.

Where is EH working now?

We are working in the Southeastern US, primarily in South Carolina.

What is EH's primary focus?

Our concept is a simple one. We identify, through existing case management channels, those families with the most critical unmet needs. We then lock arms with that family to conduct the needs assessment, fund raising, mission team recruitment, materials procurement and project management of their rebuild. We stay with them through home dedication and move in.

Where does EH get their volunteers?

We team up with churches in the eastern US who may not have the capabilities to field a team or have the local contacts for lodging, meals and projects. We routinely have three to six churches represented on our teams.

Where do the teams stay?

We stay at existing mission team hosting facilities and churches in the work area that we have visited ahead of time to make sure they have adequate sleeping, restroom, shower and kitchen facilities.

What is the cost for staying there?

There is no cost but there is a suggested donation of $5 per night per person. Each team provides their own food and should have a kitchen captain for preparation.

How do I volunteer?

Send an email to restore@eHammer1.org and let us know your interest.

Does EH charge for providing these services?

EH is funded totally by donations to its operating budget and restricted donations to fund each project.

What does EH do with the profits that it makes?

EH is a not-for-profit company organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service code. An independent board of directors sets policy and provides oversight of all EH activities.

How are EH’s operating expenses met?

EH is supported by contributions from individuals like you.

What is the best way for me to support the work of EH?

The first thing that you can do is pray for EH and our efforts to further mission outreach around the world. Secondly, we need your financial support. Ideally, if you can make a pledge, either on a monthly basis or a one-time amount, that is what we need. Any donation will be accepted and greatly appreciated.

Are my donations to EH tax deductible?

YES, since EH has received its 501(c)(3) non-profit status with the IRS, all donations are fully tax deductible.

How do I make a pledge or donation?

Go to the Make A Donation page on this web site. Pledges and donations may be made with all major credit cards as well as by automatic withdrawal from your checking account.

How can I keep up with what EH is doing in missions and learn more about the organization?
